Default SlideShows - Triggering Animation, Sound & Video

I wanted to create presentations which can pretty much play like a movie. So I build animations into a slide along with embedded sound and video clips.

How can I do this?

I have put together a presentation with sound, animation etc. I had hoped a Slideshow would allow this. I have to click the mouse to trigger sound and animation which is not what I had in mind. I want the reader to open the slideshow and the sound and animation to be triggered after the slide opens.

Is it possible to trigger animation and sound when the window opens ? How?

Alternatively, can I play the slide show and voice over it, and record the whole thing, then and play it all back as an automated slideshow?

You need to open the Animation Pane (Animation Tab) and change any animation set to "On Click" to (probably) "After Previous" or maybe "With previous" with a delay.

Thanks John

That's got me a bit further down the line. There are still several stops and the space bar need to be pressed to:
  1. Start the animation on the first page
  2. Then to move to the next page
  3. Then to start the animation from the next page
Is it possible to remove the need to press the space bar to start the animation or to turn the page?

The audio is a bit different. The user has to click on the sound object to start the play back. Can the playback be started when the page slide is first displayed ?
I have looked at the possibility of including the audio file in the animation - but animations are restricted to *.wav files which are very short sound files. The audio file with the commentary is a *.wmv file which is a minute or so.

The audio is probably a trigger animation. In the animation pane you will see a grey bar with trigger as part of the text and the animation below it. Drag the animation above the trigger and then as before

Transitions to change slide TRANSITIONS tab >Tickl Auto after xx seconds
