In the Save dialog, under 'Tools' select 'Compress Pictures'. Click on 'Options' and uncheck 'Automatically perform basic compression on save'.

As Cosmo says but this may only solve it for the current presentations. You need to mess with the registry for a total fix OR maybe try changing the setting to 220 dpi.
If you are happy working in the registry Create (or alter the value) of a key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\P owerPoint\Options\AutomaticPictureCompressionDefau lt Set value to zero Don't do this unless you know what you are doing! |
