Question regarding the difference between MO 2000 and 2007
Hello all. I could use a little help here. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. My niece has to do a powerpoint project for school, and the teacher wants her to use Office 2007, but the only computers we have available are older pc's with older Microsoft office. My question is if she does her project on office 2000 and saves it to a jump drive, will the computer at school using 2007 be able to show it? I hate to sound like an idiot, but I really have no idea how much different these different versions are. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

The presentation made in 2000 should work OK in 2007. The reverse may not be true though. Obviously I would test in 2007 BEFORE presenting to the class if possible!

Hey, thanks for the reply. I actually got lucky. The class ran out of time so she didn't get to do her presentation today. She'll do it tomorrow, and I was able to get Office 2007 from my brother earlier this afternoon so we tried it out and it worked great. I don't know why so many teachers prefer that the students use 2007 though. I didn't see much difference other than the ways you could save a project.
