U turn arrow, connectors, UML
Panic time. I've been a software engineer since '80 and I am ashamed to admit I have never learned PowerPoint. Now I get a job interview out of the blue and part of the interview will be a PowerPoint (type) presentation by me.
One thing I want to use and don't see in shapes is a U turn line, not a thick bodied shape. I would like it to look like a rounded rectangle with left or right quarter cropped off and a point attached. Dragging in an image from Paint brings a background that obscures so that won't work. Second, I would like to draw a connector across the upper third of a rounded rectangle but moving the connectors seems quite difficult. Should I just draw a line where I want it and make group. I am using these symbols in an attempt to make some UML diagrams. So a creditable source for UML templates would be great. Looking fwd to your replies. Thanks, jvh |

PowerPoint isn't really a good tool to create the diagrams. Have you thought of using Visio and exporting the result to PPT? I'm pretty sure you will be able to find a free trial which will probably do what you need.
