Default Align animations AFTER move

I'm having objects "slide in" from off the slide and I want them to meet and line up. Is there a "post animation" view (tool?) where I can line up the shapes how I want them to "end up"?

Yes, I'm using the "line" motion path. I "pull" the line out off the slide, then reverse the direction of the line. Problem is I'm trying to line up 5 boxes (sequentially) as they "come in" from off the slide, but have to "tweak" the end of the line arrow (i.e. where they "land") by trial and error.

If you start with shapes in the final position and draw the lines off slide
LOCK them and then reverse the direction and place the shapes off slide. Doesn't that work?
