Default Outlook 2003 w/ BCM - Address Book corrupt - iPhone Synch

Hi All,

My friend has Outlook 2003 with Business Contacts Manager. After he synched his iPhone with their latest release, his Address book was corrupted and he received the following message when viewing a contact:

"The property dialog box could not be displayed. An invalid entry ID was passed."

He used scanpst.exe to rebuild his .pst file, but it did not remove this error message so he can view his contact information. The contact list is displayed by he cannot access the full contact info.

Can anyone make some suggestions?

Also, the sort order setting, First Name, Last Name was different on his iPhone and his Outlook when he initially scynched his iPhone to Outlook 2003.

Try to remove the address book , and then add it again.
Or try creating a new porfile in outlook and import his pst into it. To see if he gets the same message
But 1st try doing this click start and then run - type in outlook /safe
if outlook is working here without the error, he will need to uncheck the add-ins in outlook. That would be my guess is that the add-in used for this is causing the trouble.
