Default new appointment date always reverts back to today's date

When I click on a date in the calendar, that day shows up. But, when I click on a time(to set up an appointment), the dialog box displays the current day and time, not the day and time I have selected. I then have to re-select the day and time. Any ideas to fix this?

thanks
