Talking Setting up Outlook 2010 for mail.com

Hello!

I have a mail.com e-mail account that I am trying to use with Outlook 2010. I can't send any e-mails. Can anyone see what's wrong with this setup?

Thanks!

I think the outgoing server is supposed to be smtp.aol.com and the port should be 587. Also the outgoing server DOES require authentication.

bschorr,

Thanks to you, the configuration looks like this and Outlook gave me a "Congratulations":

Server Info:
Account Type: IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: imap.aol.com
Outgoing mail server: smtp.aol.com

UserName: XXX@mail.com
PW: xxxxxxxx
Remember PW: Checked
Require SPA: unchecked

More settings:
Outgoing Server tab
My outgoing server requires authentication: checked
Log on using:
User Name: XXX@mail.com
PW: xxxxxxxx
Remember PW: Checked
Require SPA: unchecked

Advanced tab:
Incoming: 587
Encrypted connection: Auto
Outgoing: 25
Encrypted connection: Auto

This passes the "Test Account Settings" button test. Thanks for your help!
