Default Imported outlook.pst file and now have 2 "personal fold

Apologies if this has already been discussed. I am at work and having a problem with a computer of a colleague.

We changed operating systems and therefore partitioned his computer into two and then transferred software and data from the old partition to the new one.

With the outlook folders, I exported from the "old" partition and imported into the "new" partition. The outlook works as an email receiving and sending centre and in all other ways, but we have ended up with two seperate "personal folders". (containing inbox, contacts, calendar etc etc). Outlook won't allow me to delete any of them and although I have set filters up, to try and redirect the incoming mail to a certain folder, some mail goes to the right one and other mail doesn't!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Don't export/import a PST file. Just open the PST file and copy what you want from it or reuse it.

If you import a PST file and end up with 2 Personal Folders files, your
profile is corrupt. Create a new profile.
