OL 2013 Won't Move "Changed" Email
I run OL2013 fully patched on Win10 Pro fully updated on a Lenovo laptop with lots of available RAM and disk space. A couple of years ago my email provider (Charter.net) changed all email customers from POP3 to IMAP. Ever since then I have had various minor issues, but this one is really frustrating and persistent.
After opening and viewing an email I typically either delete it of move it to an archive folder. Often the deletion is delayed until I acknowledge a popup message that the message has been changed - do I still want to delete it, to which I answer yes and the message is deleted. But often when I am moving the message, after closing it even, I get a popup message that says that Outlook can't move the message because it has been changed. There is no acknowledgement except OK, and the message doesn't move. If I then within my Inbox select a different message, even without opening it, and then reselect the one that wouldn't move, it will then move simply because I unselected and reselected it in my Inbox. Can someone tell me what is causing this and is there any way to avoid this behavior? Any help will be appreciated! |
