Outlook unable to understand the mobile app link
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how to make deep linking work with the Office mobile apps, particularly Outlook for iOS? I use a launcher app that has the ability to create a custom shortcut that can be used for deep linking. So for example, I can create a shortcut to ms-outlook://compose to open the app straight to the New Email screen. My mobile app implements deep linking like "my-app://". the deep link works well when you enter the link in Safari. The app opens as expected. When you send and e-mail containing the deep link ("my-app://"), then open the email with outlook-mail on the phone, the deep link does not open the app. Instead of that I am getting a blank screen. Thanks, Pooja |
