Default Outlook 2010 - Suggested Contacts?

I am looking to upgrade a friend from win7 to win10 but noticed something odd, to me, in their Outlook 2010. They said that some email addresses were not appearing in the Address Book but most were. I checked and this was the case - even though Outlook is configured to copy addresses into the Address Book. I check in their Contacts and true enough - some email addresses were not listed. Back to Outlook, I looked at the Address Book and there wase more than one Address Book. There was the main Address Book, linked the the main email account name, and some others underneath called, from memory, some thing like Suggested Contacts (there are two of these) and two others called mobile contacts - or something like that. I opted for one of the Suggested Contacts and listed were the 'missing' email addresses that were not in the 'main' Address Book or the Contacts Folder. My friend had no idea where these other Address Books came from. I discovered that 'a.n.other', some time ago, set up a mobile iphone and an ipad to sync to their Outlook - could it be possible that the way these Apple devices are set up (I have yet to find out if they are using iCloud to do the sync'ing) has caused these extra Address Books to be created? I am looking how to copy addresses from these other Address Books into their main Address Book and then to delete to extra ones - but worried that they might return if it is something to with a sync'ing issue with these Apple devices.

Apologies - think I've posted this too soon. Just found out that these Suggested Contacts is a feature of 2010. Seems to me my solution is to copy addresses from the Suggest Contacts into the 'main' Address Book and then delete the empty Suggested Contacts - then turn off the Suggest Contacts feature. Also, seems this issue is nothing to do with Apple device sync'ing.
