Default Formating in Mail Merge

Hello All,

I would like to get some inputs on an issue that im facing with mail merge and outlook.

I've an Excel spreadsheet as the source document, with a mail merge setup in Word as an email message. Now the message is formatted in Rich Text (RTF), its a B2B mail and I dont want to use Plain Text or HTML. Plain Text will make it too simple and HTML will get caught in spam filters.

Now when I try sending the mail using the mail merge, it give me option of sending as HTML, Plain Text or as an attachment. But I would like the mail to go as a RIch Text, exactly the way it is formatted and aligned in my system. The question is can this be done? If yes, I'll appreciate some help with the same. Im using Office 10(beta) and also have access to Office 2007 and Ive tried doing this in both the versions with the same result. Instructions can be given for any one of the versions, that should help.

Thanks in advance for the help.

regards,
