move 2003 contacts to Outlook 2007
I have a .pst file from Outlook 2003 but no outlook 2003 installation (the mainboard died and I have the hard drive).
I have a new computer with Win8 and Outlook 2007 installed. I can open the .pst to see old mail and contacts but I cannot see the address book for e-mail addresses. I want the contacts moved into the Outlook 2007 as well as the address book. How can I do that without being able to export using Outlook 2003? |

If you set the old contacts list property to show the contacts list as an Outlook Address book it should be available as an address book.
OR You can make the added PST file the default, by saetting the account(s) to use the inbox of that PST file, then copy any recent e-mails etc to the old PST file, before closing that PST file. OR With the old PST file open, you can select the contacts and drag them to the new PST Contacts. Repeat for calendar items etc. Then close the old PST file. I wouldn't bother with the e-mails. You can always re-open the old PST file for reference to the old stuff. The last thing you would want to do is 'Export' the data.
