Outlook process not closing
Running outlook 2010 (32 bit) on windows 8.1
When closed outlook then task manager States still running Cannot then re open outlook in same session Have to shut down pc then restart Any assistance pleas

You should be able to end it from Task manager, but you need to establish what is holding it open. http://www.slipstick.com/problems/ou...-exit-outlook/ provides a variety of possible causes.

Thank you I was able to find the problem and fix following the Slipstick info it was Outlook Change Notifier
