Outlook disconnects when laptop is undocked
Our office laptops (Dell) are docked on our desks. Whenever one of us undocks and goes onto wifi for any longer than about 10 minutes without closing Outlook first, the program then won't reconnect when we clip the laptops back in
I've tried deleting profiles, going from cached to uncached mode and back again, restarting in safe mode, deleting old .ost files... nothing seems to work except turning the computer off for an hour or so (which is obviously not particularly useful in the middle of a workday) and blind luck Before I have an almighty tantrum and Frisbee the laptop out the window, any ideas would be really appreciated p.s. my IT skills are pretty basic. I know enough to get myself around but I'm reluctant to mess about in the registry, etc. without CLEAR instruction |
