I have Outlook 2003 and it won't auto complete names in the "TO" field (or cc or bcc)
I looked in Options and both "automatic name checking" and "suggest names while completing to, cc and bcc" are checked.

I closed down outlook and checked task manager to make sure it wasn't still running

I went to the .nk2 file name and changed it to profilename.bak.

Auto completion starts to work but when I restart my computer and reopen Outlook, it won't work again and starts "learning" the names all over again. Once I type a name in, it will know it again until I shut my computer down, then I have to start all over again again!

I do work in a company and we work through a server.
Is there any help for my forgetful computer?

Try deleting the NK2 file, and not renaming it.

By default a new NK2 file "should" be created.
