Default Sync Reports and Notes

Hi all

I've searched high and low and not found an answer, so my apologies if I've missed something.

Is there a way to sync reports and notes? I have a report that draws together all my checkbox items from various notes into a report that is my todo list. Ideally, I would like to be able to 'check' them in the report, which would also 'check' them in the original note. This way when I reproduce the report, it is accurate without me having to find the original item and check it there.

I'm using OneNote 2016 on Windows 10.

Is this possible? Or is there an addon that might help me achieve this?
