Default ive lost all my files on onenote

I've logged into my onenote on my computer and all my information has disappeared.

I have checked my phone and all my information is still there. This has happened to my wife and my computer, is it something to do with the surface pro or windows

You may be experiencing the same issue as discussed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OneNote/com...l_of_my_notes/ MS OneNote are aware that something is amiss. I found that as soon as I opened ON, it synced and then the entire section disappeared, leaving nothing. If you open the notebook online, choose 'Edit in OneNote' from the top and select the locally-installed application, then the missing section gets copied back and everything seems to be restored. Not sure for how long, though, until the problem gets fixed. It was a relief to find the online version was still intact. bob

I've got the same problem. The data are in my iPad and phone, but the OneNote in my PC has only empty notepads. There isn't problem to synchronize, however still empty in PC. I suspect the CCleaner.......

I had the same problem in OneNote 2013 and 2010. In Windows 10, I could resolve the problem by using built-in OneNote for Windows 10 - it's very slow but at least it is syncing right with my notebook in OneDrive. But I couldn't find any way to use OneNote (free version) in Windows 7 because the new OneNote software requires user to login office 365. I thought about buying OneNote 2016 if I can, but there is no option to do that in Microsoft store.
