Question Onenote - euro sign '€ę' instead of ę only

Hi,

My native language is Polish and I use it on everyday basis. We have typically Polish letter "ę" which is reached on the keyboard by combination "right alt + e".
It works everywhere, word, excel, chrome, literally everywhere but not in OneNote. When I use "r alt + e" OneNote displays '€ę' instead od 'ę' itself.

It is frustrating me. So small glitch but cannot find any solution to it. I just want to change the application from evernote to onenote and probably will have too look for something else because of that problem. There are no short cuts that I can edit nor any other options to be changed. Anyone, any idea how to solve this issue?

Ok, I just accidently fixed this. I added English language to the keyboard as a second language type > Set the language to English and then changed it back to Polish and now when I use 'r alt + e' I type ę. Voilla. To be honest, I don't know what's the difference now as I have not changed anything.
