OneNote 2013 Desktop with MS Edge on Windows 10
Hi I have recently purchased a new laptop (SurfacePro4) to replace an old one and have found that some of the most useful functions of OneNote no longer work!! When I used IE 11 on Windows 8.1 or 7 and docked the OneNote page, it would automatically apply a link to the web page that I was typing my notes against (place an IE icon to the left of the note you type and when you hover over the IE icon you see the web page and can go to it). I no longer get this function with Windows 10 and Edge. Is this just what I should expect from Edge, can I do anything to fix this or do I just need to install IE 11 and everything will work as it used to? Really appreciate any insight into this as I use this function all the time with the research I am doing for my degree course. New and shiny isn't always best! Chris |
