Default How to open a downloaded OneNote notebook (file) from OneDrive?

Hello alltogether,

unfortunately I have an unusual problem with an OneNote notebook (file) and don't know how to solve it.

I have downloaded (backup) my OneNote notebook (file) from my OneDrive cloud and deleted it there - and I also have cleared the trash basket. The file is only on my computer now.

When I try to open the notebook (file) with OneNote 2010 on my computer, I get the following error (translated from German):

"This file is not known in OneNote and can not be open."
"Maybe it is not an OneNote file, or the file is corrupt."

I would be very happy if someone could help me in this problem. Maybe someone knows how I can get my important notes from this downloaded OneNote notebook (file)?

Best regards,

Paul
