Office 2010 problem at launch
Every time I open Microsoft Word or PowerPoint (I haven't tested other programs yet) the pop-up window opens and says something about Visual Basic not installed on computer. If I continue with setup I receive an error ad setup rolls back. Then, the pop-up Window opens again. If don't continue with setup of Visual Basic and click "No", I receive messages about macros not enabled. But picture is worth thousand of words, so I made a short video: YouTube - Office 2010 problem.
I've tried reinstalling Office, but the problem is still there. But I have also Office 2003 on a computer as a backup software. Do you have any ideas how to solve this problem? |

Hi benja,
When you uninstall Word/Office, it leaves behind numerous registry entries and all the user fiels, so any problems related to those will remain. Try the approaches suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541 http://lounge.windowssecrets.com/ind...owtopic=197827 and http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm for various series of troubleshooting steps that will help you track down (and hopefully solve) the problem.
