Default Office 2010 & Click--2-Run config failure !

What the hell is this all about. I have purchased and downloaded Office 2010 home & business and when I try to run it a pop up appears saying 'Click-2-Run configuration failure' and I can't seem to get rid of it! I have tried to remove the Click-2-Run program using the uninstall but it doesn't work...... is there a simple solution ! I never had any of this hassle when I used to havemy Apple Mac.... then I changed to a laptop.... it is doing my head in !

I thought Click-2-Run was only for beta version, but it must have been for the trial too. I wish I knew for sure what to tell you. It seems that the recommendations vary from downloading the trial version as it may have been interrupted, to using tools to uninstall Click-2-Go, and/or deleting the contents of the Q: drive. http://www.bing.com/search?q=click-2...ox&FORM=IE8SRC

As you can see, it seems this was a problem for the beta. Aside from that, it doesn't seem to be a common issue.

Did you get a CD too?

FROM MICROSOFT:
Remove any drive that got created by click-2-Run
Open the temp folder and delete all the files in the temp folder.
Try to uninstall Click-2-Run from Windows installed application under Control Panel--> Programs and Features.
Restart the computer and click on the link below:-
or http://us20.office2010beta.microsoft...&culture=en-US for the traditional install
