Multiple versions of Office
Because of existing requirements, I have Office 2003 (only run Excel), Office 2007 (run Word, Excel and Access), and Office 2013 (only run Excel and Access occasionally) installed on my W10 desktop. All were lifetime license purchases.
I need to get to Office 2016 or 2019 (Excel and Access) for a new requirement. Is there a way I can do that? Thanks. |

You could install a single-install edition of Office 2016, but not Office 2019 (as it doesn't come in a single-install edition; only click-to-run).

Thank you. I believe I have resolved my problem. I have purchased Office 365 Personal.
1) On my desktop, which runs single-install 2013, 2007 and 2003, when I tried to install 365, I got a warning that 2013 had to be uninstalled. Cancelled that install temporarily. 2) On laptop 1 (W10), which runs 2007 (32 bit) and 2003, I installed 365 (32-bit) successfully. All three versions run independently. 3) On laptop 2 (W7), which runs 2007 and 2003, I installed 365 (32 bit) successfully. If no problems come up, I will uninstall 2013 on my desktop and install 365 there as well. At $69 a year for 5 systems, I am satisfied with this solution. Thanks for your reply and help. |

I did come up with a small problem on desktop when I installed 365 over 2007 and 2003. Outlook 2007 is now giving me 'Not Implemented' error when I 'Send/Receive'. Neither of my laptops present this error in 2007. I replaced 'SRS' file but that did not fix the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Office has always supported only one version of Outlook in a multi-version installation.

I fixed the 2007 problem by removing 2007 Outlook and re-adding it via the change feature method. You're right, I'm sure, about multiple versions, but I have 2007 and 365 installed and as long as I open each separately, there does not seem to be any problem. I will, however, eventually remove 2007 and use only the 365 version.
