Default Account Error Notification

When I open any of my excel files, I have a "warning" triangle in the upper right corner next to my name. If I click on my name I see the message...

"Sorry, we can't get into your account right now. To fix this please sign in again."

What causes this to happen?

Thank you,
Janice
