Default Product Key with No Disc

Hi,

I bought MS Office 2007 with my new computer but I think I might have got the wrong thing. All they gave me was a package that says it contains a Product Key but no disc, however my PC doesn't have office installed on it. I haven't opened the envelope yet but I was wondering if I can download office from the net and use that key to activate it or do I have to return it and get the boxed software. I hope not 'cause now it will be much more expensive.

Thanks!

You can download the trial of Microsoft Office 2007 and then enter your product key when prompted. Or, while using the software, you can enter your product key whenever you are prompted to "convert" during the trial expiration reminder messages. The third option is to click the Microsoft Office icon ,click Program Name Options, click Resources, and click Activate.

To download Office 2007 (and for other tips for using Office 2007), check out: http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/d...?culture=en-US.

I hope this helps!
