Default Installing stand alone office component


Hi I have MS Office 2016 home and student and I want to add Access 2016, I've been told I've got to unistall my Office then install Access and then reinstall office, is this correct?

Not to worry I've done the uninstall, install and install, it wasn't as painful as I thought i'd be. All sems to work:

There is no need for the uninstallation. Depending on the Office edition, all you need do is go to Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change>Add or Remove Features.
