Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook does work anymore
I'm getting totally crazy of all messages of any Office programm that tell me that it does not work anymore. Starting in a safe mode should help, but after starting in a safe mode , and closing, and starting again it tells me the same.
Because it happens to all the programms in Office 2013, I suppose it is a Office problem. As I am using OneDrive it might be ther Office cache, but I really don't know problems of that kind. Furthermore, my hard drive is near to overflowing, partly because of the size of the Office cache. Please help is needed urgently!! |

Have you changed any software on your system lately? The Windows 10 upgrades being foisted on unsuspecting Windows 7 users are causing all sorts of problems. I've just gone through the process of having to wipe two systems and rebuild them from scratch - on one there were no restore points to go back to and on the other none of them went back far enough to undo the damage. On the laptop with no restore points, I couldn't even access the laptop's recovery partition. So then I had to go to a library to download a new 3GB Win 7 iso, find all the necessary drivers, then download all the post-SP1 updates (except for the Win 10 abomination), AV software, install Office 2010, download all the post-SP2 updates, etc., etc., before I could reload all my data... Except for the Win 7 iso download, I had to do basically the same process twice - once for each laptop.
If you haven't had the misfortune to have Win 10 inflicted on you (check your Windows update history), you could try repairing the Office installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change). Alternatively, since everything works in safe mode, the problem may be due to an errant 3rd-party Office addin. Try Starting Word/ Excel and disabling any non-MS addins they share.

reparing works
First thing thank you for replying.
I read forums a lot, but never needed to use one for posing a question. No, I did n't update my system recently. And, yes, your repairing suggestion was a good one. I did the fully repair by the internet, and the messages left inmeadeatly. Thanx again. Henk |

Well, yesterday the messages were gone, now they are back again.
So reinstalling is not the wright solution. till now I removed Foxit, that installed addins in Word and Excel, but not in Outlook. than I repaired Office again, the small repair.. no result so far. I now trying to reinstall again. anybody any new options? |

Neither did I suggest reinstalling, which rarely achieves anything a repair won't. What other addins do you have installed?
