Default Purchase Order Form

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and just looking for a bit of help on creating a purchase order form.

I've currently got a very basic form that I pretty much fill in from scratch every time. I have the addresses of the most used suppliers typed in a seperate document and copy and paste them in to the form when required. But there must be a way of having this as a drop down tab so they would automatically come in when I start to type?

Are there any templates I could download?

As you will have guessed I have a very basic understanding of MSOffice.

Thanks in advance.

Which Office application are you using for this (Word, Excel, etc)?

I'm using word at the moment, but I don't mind changing to another one if it would make things easier.

OK, but you posted in a general Office forum instead of in the Word forum, so there was no way of knowing. I'll move the thread to the correct forum.

But it is not a Word related question, like I've said I am happy to use any application.

You also said Word is what you're currently using.

I clearly state that I don't mind using any application, did you miss that bit??

Could we try and remain on topic as well please. Thanks.

No, I didn't miss a thing. However, given your argumentative attitude at even this stage, I hardly think you're going to endear yourself to anyone who might be inclined to help.

Can I ask why this has been moved? I've got a feeling Word will not cater for my needs. I think Access/Excel guys should be able to view this too!

My argumentative attitude? You are what we would call in England a "busy body". You have made a problem out of nothing. The OP is CLEARLY a general MS enquiry. I am open to any suggestions regarding software.

OK, since you want to be so precious, I'll move the thread back. Let's see where that gets you ...

Well Macropod, I'm sure you could point me in the right direction? You are part of admin and have over 5000 posts, so I'd like to think you know what you are talking about?

Indeed I do, which is why I helpfully moved the thread to the Word forum. But since you take such exception to my helpfulness, I dare not offer further advice.
