Default FP2003 Not Publishing Changes?

I have many websites created using FP2003 but I went into one of the larger ones and did some housecleaning which included updating many pages and also deleting a bunch of pages.

In the past when I've deleted a page it would pop-up during the publish step to ask me if I wanted it removed from the remote server and I would answer yes. For some reason after doing this cleaning I went to publish this site and not only did it not ask if I wanted the deleted pages removed, it didn't publish the pages that had been changed either.

It acts like it's "doing it's thing" (no error messages) but nothing was done.

I've tried using the both the "Determine changes by comparing source and destination sites" AND "Use source file time stamps to determine last publish" settings.

I opened another of my sites and made a change and publish it and it worked fine.

Any suggestions??
TIA!!
Beth
