Default specifying sender account for mail merge operations

Cautiously experimenting after being given a new task … I think I've worked out how to use an Excel file as an address repository, and the mail to be sent does not require any real merging (in the sense of different data in each copy). But I still have a problem!

In Outlook, I have both an individual mail-box and access to a functional mail box. The mail merge needs to be sent out from/using the functional mail box, not my own individual address. Where/how do I do this?

Thanks in advance!

A mailmerge can only use your default email account. Accordingly, to use the functional mail box, you'd have to temporarily configure that as your default.

So far so good … and I hear it vaguely suggested that I'll need an additional Outlook profile. Does that make sense as a concept/a request to send to IT Support?

An additional Outlook profile may indeed be the way to go.
