How to ignore a mail merge field if the field is blank
cc: «Primary_Care_Physician» How can I get word to automatically erase "cc:" if the Primary Care Phyiscian field is blank? |

Delete the cc: and change the mergefield's code to:
{MERGEFIELD Primary_Care_Physician \b "cc: "} Pressing Alt-F9 toggles the field code display on/off
