Chart Over 7,000 Data Points
I have 7,610 data points I need to display in a chart. I want to chart how many widgets were sold per store per day.
The "Y" axis will be 7,610 stores. I sorted the data in ascending order. Since there are so many data points and the data points are very close in range (mainly the smaller numbers), how can something like this be charted? Thank you in advance. Data attached |

Hi Karen
As there are so many data points you may be btter off using a Pivot Table. Trying to chart 7000 data points would only work if you have an A0 size plotter (printer) or bigger. Hope this helps. Tony(OTPM) |

Thank you for your help. What exactly should I do with the data in the pivot table?

I grouped the data to summarize it.
Can someone take a look at the data and tell me the best way to chart this? I would appreciate any help Thank you |

Hi Karen
In order to produce a Pivot Table you will need to provide the totals for each individual store. If you do that I will be happy to produce the Pivot Table for you. Hope this helps. Tony(OTPM) |
