Greetings,
I have a table in excel, the table contains long phrases. In some cells excel has transformed the text into ######### and I can only read the content of the cell if I read on the status bar. A help from you to make the cell display the real text would be welcome.

I think excel will only display the 256 first characters

But even the first 255 are not shown, they are replaced by ############.
Yes, the cell contain more than 255 characters (267 to be exact), however in another cell of another column, more than 800 in a cell are clearly displayed without ##########

Check the formatting of the cell... is it set to "Accounting"? It should be General or Text.

In the future please provide all the information instead of fragmentary information. This will avoid members losing their (free) time and having to come back to you each time you provide additional info.
