Default Where Does Excel 2000 Store Backup Files?

Or does it?? After working with it for 15 years, I cannot find any backup files for Excel 2000 anywhere on my hard drive.

I understand from an internet search that Excel 2000 backup files have the extension .XLK

Try searching for .xlk extension files.

I searched and found nothing. Are you sure that you gave me the correct file extension?

According to the Microsoft website ... yes.

Perhaps you haven't configured your copy to create backups ? Look in the Settings ?
