You always can make a separate table for chart - on same worksheet where chart is situated, or another sheet. You get all data needed for chart there (Only needed data!). Chart will be based on this table, not on table meant for users. You can leave this table visible, or hide it from users (when on separate sheet, then you can hide sheet, when on same sheet with chart, then you can hide columns/rows with table).
