Scaffold is on a distinguished road
Default Consolidating data with sub-cycles

Hello everyone!

Is it possible to get a result similar to one shown on the screenshot using the in-built Excel finctions? Or shall I look into VBA macros?
What I am interested to get is the following: let's say I have three rows (or columns - that doesn't matter) of data pieces. Let's say it is (1) A,B,C, then (2) x,y,z, then (3) 1,2,3. I need to iterate through each of them in what is essentially subcycles - first I get A, then add x to A, then 1 to x, then 2 to x, then 3 to x, then I add y to A, then 1 to y, and so on.

I would happily work on a sheet myself. I just need to understand what kind of tool I need to utilize.

Ok, if you absolutely need my book with 18 cells of totally generic data, then here it is.

Thanks for the suggestion! I need some time to digest it.
How universal is this solution? I mean that my example is obviously generic, and real data would look different, and have different lengths.

It's always best to give full details from the start.

Sorry if my initial post wasn't clear enough. The example is generic, the real data would generally be larger.

Can't you be somewhat more specific as to how your data is set up?

Quite like the example, but lengths of arrays can be different and random.
