Consolidating data with subcycles
Hello everyone! Is it possible to get a result similar to one shown on the screenshot using the inbuilt Excel finctions? Or shall I look into VBA macros? What I am interested to get is the following: let's say I have three rows (or columns that doesn't matter) of data pieces. Let's say it is (1) A,B,C, then (2) x,y,z, then (3) 1,2,3. I need to iterate through each of them in what is essentially subcycles first I get A, then add x to A, then 1 to x, then 2 to x, then 3 to x, then I add y to A, then 1 to y, and so on. I would happily work on a sheet myself. I just need to understand what kind of tool I need to utilize.

Ok, if you absolutely need my book with 18 cells of totally generic data, then here it is.

#6

Maybe you can use the attached.

#7

Thanks for the suggestion! I need some time to digest it.
How universal is this solution? I mean that my example is obviously generic, and real data would look different, and have different lengths.
#8

It's always best to give full details from the start.

#9

Sorry if my initial post wasn't clear enough. The example is generic, the real data would generally be larger.

#10

Can't you be somewhat more specific as to how your data is set up?

#11

Quite like the example, but lengths of arrays can be different and random.

If you want me to help any further than already done in #6 then please give full details.
