Default accommodation booking spreadsheet

A1 is the commencement date
B1 is the end of stay date

C1 is titled Rooms
C2 to C100 are room numbers
From D1 the next 365 cells are the days of the year

My question to the group is does anyone know of a formula that if A1 and B1 are entered with dates, the formula searched all cells in rooms and dates and shades them accordingly?

Equally if anyone has previously made a accommodation spreadsheet can you please advise?

Thanks M
