I have successfully made a pivot table to list categories & amounts from a bank account. I also have a cash account and I want to be able to list the amounts for the same categories from both accounts into one pivot table. Each account is on its own worksheet.



I have tried; (as an example)

'bank account'!$A$3:$E$100+'cash account'!$A$3:$E$100 - which doesn't work. I have also replaced the '+' sign with a colon ':'

Do any 'wise people' out there know if it is possible to get information from two worksheets into one pivot table using the same categories?

Thank you for your advice. I was able to consolidate data from two worksheets into one pivot table following your help and direction although I have been unable to manipulate the columns into the format I want for printing but that is something I will work on.

The other frustrating thing, although I am sure there is a very simple answer I have failed to find, is that every time I 'Refresh' to load new data into the pivot table the columns automatically adjust reducing the width to accommodate the largest set of data. I want it left at the widths I set ready for printing.

Any clues!?
