Default 2nd matrix gives a resut that doesn´t match numbers in the 1st matrix

Hi

i can´t get my head around this one.

either i2 or j2 has to pick the next number above in column B so that j2 does not come up with an error.

example if B2 is 50 and G2 is 50. I2 would be 100 but J2 makes a error

It would be okay if I2 automatically selected 105 in column B then J2 would automatically become H.

Or J2 automatically selected the letter H in column D.

I am sure it is completely obvious to yourself what should be returned, but not to me. You gave one example:

if you type 60 in B2 and 30 in G2. The result come back with a G

Understood, but what if B2 = 15 and G2 = 20, what if B2 = 20 and G2 = 30, what if B2 = 225 and G2 = 225 etc.?

B2 = 15 and G2 = 20 then J2 has to come back C
B2 = 20 and G2 = 50 then J2 will come back D
B2 = 225 and G2 = 225 then J2 has to come back with a error

If B2+G2 does not come back as a number that exists in column B. it has to choose a number higher than it self in column B.

Example B2 = 50 and G2 = 50 then I2 = 100 but it has to choose 105 from column B or J2 has to choose H from column D

Becoming even more confused when you say:

B2 = 20 and G2 = 50 then J2 will come back D

And you wrote earlier:

No in B2 its only possible to have the numbers from column B

And its only possible to have the numbers in G2 from the G column.

The problem for me is that sometimes B2+G2 = I2. I2 dose not always come back with a match for column B. So it has to chose a number higher from column B.

I have made the B2 and G2 lists. so that only the right number can be selected.
