Cells from other worksheets apear on current worksheet
I have a user who works on big excel files.
When he is working one worksheet, occationally it will show up cells from other worksheets in the file. Highlighting the area or moving to another worksheet then back removes the problem. There is plenty of free space on his HDD, 1GB of RAM and upto 2GB virtual memory. Graphics card work fine on other, more intensive, applications. Any ideas? |

Hi,
first of all, that's not really much (resource I mean). Please also note that extensive Excel spreadsheets, which I presume are all linked to each-other (meaning they use data) and contain complicated formulas and conditions, make Excel in it's essence slower. It's may not be that your computer is slow, but the program cannot handle the data any faster. Analyizing and calculating is a lot of work Hope to have helped. Rgrds, Kristiina |

I would work from this ss being in Compatibility Mode (as seen at the top of the file) which probably means this is saved as a 2003 Excel SS
I would try Save As the file in a 2007 file format and see if another copy with 2007 format helps click for more infor |
