in excel 2013 (windows 8.1) how can i use f2 function as was in
excel 2007 (windows xp).

Sorry I'm not sure what your question is because pressing the function F2 key on the keyboard in both Excel 2007 and Excel 2013 but gives the same result. It allows you to edit existing content within a cell.

Can you clarify this further?
