grid lines disappeared
Even though grid lines is checked I cannot see any lines. Also the numbers down the left edge are no longer colored blue nor are the letters across the top. How do I get the color and lines back?

The lines may then appear also. If not, post back. |

In Options/Advanced, scroll down to display options, where the check box is to "show gridlines", is the color of the gridlines set to Black?
For the blue - I'm on Office 2007. In Options, General Tab, I have the option for Silver or Blue or Black. Blue gives me blue row numbers and column labels. I'm not sure if that's the same "blue" to which you refer. |

I now have a very light blue down the numbers on the left and the letters across the top but no gridlines. So - half a resolution is better than none. thanks again.

I definitely did that but I just did it again to be sure. Interestingly, when the entire sheet is selected it turns blue and I see white grid lines. Even that would be better than none.

That has been checked many times. The only place "show grid lines" shows up is under "display options for this worksheet". Since I have opened up so many worksheets today, those that I opened have grid lines because I went to advanced and changed that to blue. But every time it is a new worksheet and I go to advanced it is back to black and needs to be changed.

Missing Grid Lines
It has been one month and I still can't get any grid lines on my spreadsheets. I have tried everything anybody has suggested to no avail. I am hoping this message could once again get to the top of the message board in hopes that someone new might have a suggestion for me. It is almost impossible to use a spreadsheet without grid lines. Thank you
