Default Conditional Formatting Dates

Hi,

I have column G that contains dates. I want to format them so that it will highlight any date that is equal to or less then 5 days old.

How do I do this?
What formula do I use?
Do I even use conditional formatting?

Very new at this complex formulas and conditional formatting.

Thanks for any help!!

Hi
select your range - go to conditional formatting and use following condition for the CF ( assuming you start in G1)
Code:
=$G1<=today()-5
and format as needed
