Excel 97 file is empty in Excel 2007
Hi, I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 8, and I installed Office 2007 on it. Then I transfered some old .xls files and tried to open them, but they are empty? Some of them contains the diagrams, but all of them are missing the data or values.
I transferred them again using another USB drive, but the same problem persists. They open fine on the old Windows XP machine with Office 97 installed on it. Anyone got any ideas here, cause I'm confused Thanks |

That's a strange one. Can you attach a workbook to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive) so we can take a look at it? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
