Default Privacy warning.

I have a Excel 2007database that has in input Page that if I enter a Serial No. it will give me the information required; dates, type, model etc. Every time I close it down or save, I have to have to complete the message below, is there some way to stop this coming up on screen.

! Privacy warning: This document contains macros; Active X controls, XML expansion pack information, or Web components. These may include personnel information that cannot be removed by document inspector. With the option of Ok - Cancel

Thanks, Freebee2.

On the Developer tab, in the Code group, click Macro Security.

  1. Tip If the Developer tab is not displayed, click the Microsoft Office Button , click Excel Options, and then in the Popular category, under Top options for working with Excel, click Show Developer tab in the Ribbon.
  2. In the Macro Settings category, under Macro Settings, click the option that you want. Note Any changes that you make in the Macro Settings category in Excel apply only to Excel and do not affect any other Microsoft Office program.
Citation and more...

Thanks zyzzyva57
I found the answer in the link you gave me, they were working with the same problem I have in the Microsoft Online discussion group.
For any anyone else that has the problem, press Developer; Macro Security; Privacy options; Document-Pacific settings, untic the box for "Remove Personal Information from file properties on Save" and press ok to exit.

Thanks Freebee2
