Macro to conditionally delete rows
Hi
I'm a very basic Excel user. I have about 60 spreadsheets with up to 200 rows of information. Column H can contain one of two values: N or Y. I would like to delete all the rows that have an N in that column. Can anyone suggest a macro or similar to do that? Thanks |

Hi Steve,
If you're a very basic Excel user then it's probably better to avoid implementing your own macros for now. To do this manually you can add an autofilter to the sheet, filter column H by the value "N", select and delete the visible rows and then remove the autofilter. Once you've got the hang of doing that, it's a 5 second job. |

Thanks Colin, that's a much simpler way to go.
