Default Excel to Word

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to create a calender. I would love to know if there's a way to structure a table in excel which locks the height and widths when it is copied to word. It seems to never copy and past properly.

Thanks.

Default Excel - Word Calendar

Hi, I'm not quite sure what you mean by the size changing when you paste from Excel into Word.

I made a simple calendar for January in Excel and set the column width to 8 ( as shown in the attachment ). When I selected and copied the cells from Excel and pasted them into a blank Word page, they appeared to copy and retain the original size. ( Fig 1 )

There are a few possibilities however that may cause your problem. If for example you are trying to paste cells that exceed your margin width in Word, then they will not fit properly. ( Fig 2 )

Hope this helps.

Regards, "Zade"
